Holiday in Pembrokeshire by
booking one of our cottages. Explore the
St Davids Peninsula, renowned for its beautiful
beaches, coves, harbours,
cliff walks and the magnificent, medieval St Davids Cathedral and Bishop's
Palace. Being set
within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, botanists, bird watchers and
naturalists of all types, will enthuse at
the diversity of the flora and fauna discovering a pilgrimage into
nature comparable to the historically religious one. Three pilgrimages
to St Davids were once equal to one to Rome. The surrounding seas
provide a plethora of water based activities including fishing,
surfing,
sailing, coasteering, diving,
kayaking and rock climbing.
The Cathedral City of St. Davids is 2 miles distant and the picturesque harbour village of Solva is 1 mile. The new Pembrokeshire Landscape Interpretation Gallery, Oriel-y-Parc opened in St Davids during the summer of 2008 and is exhibiting a changing selection of Graham Sutherlands paintings and others. The area provides for good walking, riding, surfing, many other water sports and golf. There are a wealth of artists working and exhibiting in the area such as the Glass Designer, Steve Robinson who works just over the road. Local boat trips range from
the traditional fishing boats to rigid hull inflatable wild water rides.
Nearby Ramsey Island is a sea bird sanctuary and trips also run to Skomer
and Grassholm, often including whale and dolphin sitings.
Annie Rogers offers 4 units of a high residential quality which are all fully
equipped and inclusive of linen, electricity and heating charges.
